    This red light therapy light is sturdy and solidly built. It is pretty large and heavy but powerful. It has a grid of alternating red and near-infrared LEDs with individual focusing lenses. They are super bright and warm. The chassis is fan-cooled since it can get really warm.

    The light has a power rocket switch on one side and a control panel on the other side. The pane has a red light button, NIR button, and a digital timer with up/down adjustment buttons. You can turn the red and NIR on/off independently. It also comes with a little remote with the same buttons on it, which is handy.

    The light is rated at 300W, and operates directly on AC power. I’m using it for skin care and pain relief. It seems helpful. I could feel the radiant warmth from the NIR light, which helps with pain relief and blood circulation. The bright red light is supposed to be good for skin health and rejuvenation.

    The only issue I have with this light is that there isn’t much you can do in term of orientating the light for optimal exposure. You can stand it on a floor, a table or hang it behind the door for height adjustment. There is no way to tilt it, unless you fork out $80 more for the other model with an adjustable stand.

    This comes well packaged in a retail box within a shipping carton box. A 5′ power cord, remote, hanging hardware and door clamp, and cheaply-made goggles are included. Overall, this is a nice RLT light. It is powerful and solidly built, albeit a little large and heavy. Competitively priced. Worth a consideration.

    I set it on the counter so I could use it and when I set it down the glass shattered and the several of the glass bulbs fell off. I did not drop it, I didn’t throw it, just set it on the counter like normal. I now can’t use this and that was only the third use.

    Just learned that there are some yogas & spa places where they light up the whole place with infrared. Well, I have a floor version with wheels and I love it. This one needs a small table or a platform but gives you more light overall. It has double the LED surface and seems more hardcore. My wife and I can share it together while watching TV, that is how much flood of light it has. It has timer of course. In terms of quality, this may not be the best, but in terms of functionality, this unit works great.
